Eligibility : B.E. /B. Tech. or equivalent with minimum 55% aggregate marks in appropriate Branch of Engineering/Tech. Candidates belonging to SC/ST categories will get 10% relaxation in qualifying marks.

Allocation/ Reservation of seats: 16%, 20% and 14% seats of sanctioned intake shall be reserved for the candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC (excluding creamy layer) categories respectively as notified by the state government of Madhya Pradesh in this regard. D.  MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA) 

RULES FOR ADMISSION TO MBA

The admissions to MBA programme are governed through centralized On-Line Counseling organized by the Directorate of Technical Education Bhopal, M.P. State Government.

1.1 Availability of seats- 60 seats

95% Seats for MP domicile candidates and 5% Seats for All India Seats (All India Seats if not filled then converted into Seats for MP domicile candidates).

1.2 Reservation of seats:

16%, 20% and 14% of the total seats of MP seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Other Backward Classes (excluding Creamy Layer) OBC categories respectively as per the rules regulations of Directorate of Technical Education Bhopal, M.P. State Government.

A candidate, claiming reservation under a reserved category shall have to produce relevant certificate/certificates in proforma prescribed by the Government of MP at the time of verification of documents.

(A) Reservation for Female candidates: 30% seats in each category viz. UR, SC, ST and OBC shall be reserved for female candidates.

(D) Reservation for Persons with disabilities (Physically Handicapped Seats): 3% seats in each category viz. - UR, SC, ST and OBC shall be reserved for candidates with disability percentage of 40 or above and satisfying MP domicile 5 requirements. Candidates claiming admission against these seats (PH Seats) shall be required to produce following certificates at the time of verification of documents:-

(i) Disability Certificate from the concerned District Medical Board; AND (ii) Eligibility Certificate for the course from the Superintendent, Vocational Rehabilitation Centre for Physically Handicapped, Napier Town, Jabalpur, M.P.

1.3 Process of Admission

– Through a Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) Scorecard.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. The CMAT is a three hour computer based online test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate’s ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

General Information of Admission:

1. Admissions in MBA against M.P. Domicile Candidate Seats, All India Seats, J&K Resident/ Migrant Seats etc. are done through Counselling on the basis of common merit lists of CMAT provided by the AICTE every year.

2. Admissions are done through Counselling on the basis of the common ranking list declared by AICTE. The detailed schedule of Counselling are published in various leading news papers and also made available on website of competent authority ‘Director Technical Education, Bhopal’ i.e. www.dtempcounselling.org/ dte.mponline.gov.in. No separate call letters are sent to the candidates.

3. All the candidates seeking admissions in 2 year Full-Time MBA programme are required to first register himself/herself with the On-Line Portal ‘MP Online’ and then he/she needs to fill all of the preferences of institutions offering such MBA programme. The allotments are declared as per the counseling schedule. The candidates need to take the print copy of his/her Allotment Letter and report to the institute for depositing the semester fees.

4. Original Documents: During the counselling process, the original documents presented by the candidates shall be verified with originals and original documents are returned to the candidates. However, candidates need to submit two sets of photocopies of these required documents in the institute.

5. If, after aforesaid round of counselling seats still remains vacant, they shall be filled at the institutional level according to counselling procedure declared by the Competent Authority.

 

D.   M.C.A. 

 Rules of Admissions

A candidate seeking admission to MCA course should be a Graduate with at least 50% marks and 45% marks in case SC, ST, OBC (excluding creamy layer) category of Madhya Pradesh in aggregate of any UGC/AICTE approved Indian University or form a Foreign University) recognized by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) or Institute recognized by the concerned University ad equivalent there to. Recognized Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with mathematics at (10+2) level or at Graduate level.

Procedure of admission follows online off campus admission procedure. In case the decision to conduct online off campus counseling for a particular course is taken by the State Government, then the competent authority declared by the State Government for this purpose, shall finalize the detailed programme and shall make it available on its website declaring its procedure, process of admission and different cut-off dates. Procedure of online off campus counseling will be followed as per the regulation published in MP Government Gazette dated 31st July 2009 for online off campus counseling.
