The   department   has a  fully developed   Remote  sensing   Cell   which is   well equipped   for  visual  interpretation and  digital   processing  techniques. A digital interactive system have  been procured  and is  quite useful in Research Activities.

The Cell encourages the Research Programmes in application of Remote Sensing in   Geotechnical      Engineering , Transportation  Engineering ,  Water  Resource Engineering,   Environmental   Engineering ,   Structural Engineering ,Geology and Geo-morphology.
