Vision of the Department….
To impart technical education in the field of Electrical Engineering to deserving young men and women of the country at undergraduates and postgraduate levels such that they are prepared to face the challenges, to develop leadership qualities, to think about design & developments according to the situations posed by the fast growing globalization.
Goals of the Department
- To appraise the students with socio-economic, technological, health and environment concerns.
- Amend the curricula according to the requirement of the current societal status.
- To orient UG & PG programs according to the trends in the technical advancement.
- Extend testing & consultancy facilities.
- To develop R&D sections in the respective course curricula such as power system, control theory and applications, electrical m/c & drives, power electronics and application, microprocessor & embedded applications all in electrical engg.
- To develop the leadership qualities & communication skill in the students and staff of the department.
