Presently department offers B.E. degree course with an intake of 60 students.

A new self-finance M.Tech. Course in Microelectronics & VLSI design has been started from July 2002 with an intake of 25 students. Department has well qualified faculty to impart training and curriculum development at UG and PG level.

Department has supervised Ph.D. Programme in the following areas: 

1. Semiconductor Lasers: Thesis submitted.
2. Optoelectronics:one completed.
3. ADC Testing: one completed.
