There seems to be no end for any achievement. ACIES was one of such biggest achievement of the students and faculties of the Information Technology Department. ACIES (National Inter College Quiz Contest) was oganized as a part of AAYAM-05' ,the National level Tech Symposium and was conducted in the month of Feb-2005. Around 2000 candidates participated in it from all over India. Mrs Urjita Thakar was the convenor and III year students of IT were the students convenor of this event .The event had been possible mainly due to devotion and commitment of the students and faculty members of the deptt. In this again Engineers have proved that they are not only good at technical, politics, games, current affairs but in almost everything. Final winners were from our home institution SGSITS, and they have proved that SKY IS THE LIMIT for any achievement. 

Apart from these curricular activities the students of 2005 batch have been placed in prestigious companies like HCL, HSBC, Impetus, Persistent Systems etc. They have also secured high ranks in the National level competitive exams like GATE , CAT etc.
