Departments has a total of 18 teachers on roll. About 50% of staff strength has acquired Ph.D. Degree or are in the process of completing it. Individual distinctions achieved by faculty is as under:
1) Dr. A.G. Ambekar remained referee to the prestigious ?Journal of Mechanical Design? of American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
He has authored a book on ?Mechanism & Machine Theory? published in 1995 and has chaired Technical Sessions at International Conferences.

He has been awarded N.K. Iyengar Memorial Medal at 14th Indian Engineering Congress at Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi in Jan 2000.

2) Mr. C.B.Pawar received ?Best Paper Award? in Jan 1994.
3) Dr. Sanjeev Bharani was awarded with SERC visiting Fellowship in 1998-99 by
DST, New Delhi. He also Received Award for his paper at 14th Engineering Congress at New Delhi in Jan 2000.
