List of Experimental Setup

Institute has well equipped laboratories for Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology and Biotechnology experimentations. There are three Instrument Rooms that house modern analytical instruments like 2-HPLC, U.V. Spectrophotometer, Flame Photometer, Brookfield Viscometer, Lyophilizer, Air Suspension coater, Centrifuge (Eppendorf), Dissolution Test Apparatus, Disintegration Test Apparatus, Karl Fischer apparatus etc. Separate laboratories exist for Under -Graduate and Post-Graduate studies. A new state-of-the-art laboratory Computer Aided Drug Design Laboratory has been developed to carry-out research activities right from designing, synthesizing and isolation of active pharmaceutical entities to the development of a ready to market formulations.

Pharmaceutics Labs

Currently there are two UG and two PG laboratories for Pharmaceutics experimentation. The laboratories are equipped with new as well as conventional gadgets like Ovens, Shakers, Stirrers, Homogenizers, Tablet Machines, Capsule Filling Machines, Coating Pan, USP Dissolution Rate Apparatus, Disintegration Apparatus, Friability Apparatus, Brookfield Viscometer, Lyophilizer, Air Suspension coater, Centrifuge (Eppendorf) etc. The working platforms have adequate water, gas and electricity supply.

Pharmaceutical Chemistry Labs

Currently there are two UG and two PG laboratories for Pharmaceutical Chemistry experimentations. All the labs have all working amenities including the bio-safety hood.

Pharmacognosy Labs

There are two Pharmacognosy Labs, which are well-equipped.. Labs have a collection of crude drug samples and are substantiated with Medicinal Gardens.

Pharmacology lab

Pharmacology lab is fitted with conventional equipments like Organ Bath, Operation Table, Haemocytometer, Haemoglobinometer, Analgesiometer, and Plethysmometer etc. An Animal house supports the lab.
