It is well said that:
Health is Wealth and If Wealth is lost, nothing is lost but if Health is lost every thing is lost”. So to maintain health the most important feature is to be a sport. And to be a sport physical recreation is essential. Games and sports are the best examples of this recreation. Games and sports lubricate our body and mind for smooth riding of your life. Not only it adds to our Zeal and enthusiasm but also sparks the flame of competence and fighting spirit. It helps in grooming up a complete man with a personality filled with confidence and optimism, and also gives the courage to venture in new innovations and to take failure and losses as new challenges.
                                             Many times it is considered that the sport comes under extra curricular activities, but they are not extra, rather are co curricular activities. Only because of the sports activities the optimum development of a person is possible.

                                            Thus, Physical recreation through games and sports has always been an important part of the Institute since its inception. Games like football, cricket, Badminton, volleyball, Throw ball, basketball, chess, Table tennis, Kho-kho, Kabbadi, Athletics, Handball and Lawn tennis are in regular practice
