We, the department, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with  the JKMS foundation which is working to establish the concept of Bharatiya Ganit Shastra [वेfदक गfणत], its application in modern mathematical processes on 08-Sep-2023 in the Institute. A meeting of eminent mathematicians being called on same day at 3:00pm.

Mission

The mission of the department is to provide an environment where students can learn and become competent users of mathematics and its applications. Moreover, the department will contribute to the development of students as mathematical thinkers and enabling them to become lifelong learners.
