About Faculty: Dr. Smita Verma has completed her M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics) from SGSITS, Indore. After that she joined M.Tech. course in Future Studies and Planning from Devi Ahilya University Indore. She completed the compulsory training of M.Tech. course from Gajra Gears Industry, Dewas in Inventory Management. Then she was awarded the Senior Research Fellowship of CSIR(Council for Scientific & Industrial Research, New Delhi, India), during that she also completed her Ph.D. As a faculty, Dr. Smita Verma joined the Institute in 2001 and presently having 20 years of teaching experience. She has published 32 research papers and presented 22 papers in various National and International Conferences, including 3rd International Conference on Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics (ICAESAM’2015)at London and IV International Conference of Applied Mathematics, Modeling and Computational Science, Organized by Wilfrid Laurier University, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Dr. Verma has guided 03 M.Phil. thesis and around 25 P.G. Dissertations. She is guiding 04 Ph.D. and 01 student was awarded with PhD. Her research interests are in mathematical optimization and application of optimization techniques for solving various engineering problems. Presently working on Data Envelopment Analysis and Fuzzy- Data Envelopment Analysis.

Research Details: My research interests are in mathematical optimization and application of optimization techniques for solving various engineering problems. Presently working on solving non-linear programming problems, named the fractional programming problem, by using the concept of Data Envelopment Analysis and Fuzzy- Data Envelopment Analysis. Which is a nonparametric method for the estimation of production frontiers. It is used to empirically measure technical efficiency of decision-making units (DMUs).

She has done B.Sc. from Satya Sai College, Bhopal in 1996, M.Sc. in Mathematics from M.L.B College Bhopal in 1998, M.Phil. from DAVV in 1999 and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from DAVV Indore in 2014. About Faculty: Dr.Preeti Sengar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied mathematics and computational Science at SGSITS Indore (M.P.).She has done B.Sc. from Government Girls Degree college (GDC), Ujjain in 2009, M.Sc. in Mathematics from School of Studies at Vikram University Ujjain in 2011, M.Phil from School of Studies at Vikram University Ujjain in 2012 and Ph.D in Mathematics from Vikram University Ujjain in 2017.
