During the 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) – NRI Convention held from 8 to 10 January 2023, and the 7th edition of the Invest Madhya Pradesh – Global Investors Summit (GIS) from 11 to 12 January 2023 in Indore, undergraduate and postgraduate students from the Civil Engineering Department actively participated in the Traffic Mitra Abhiyan, a volunteer initiative aimed at supporting local traffic management.

Working closely alongside the Indore Traffic Police, the students helped maintain smooth traffic flow and ensure road safety throughout these high-profile events. Their collaboration showcased a strong sense of civic responsibility while providing practical exposure to urban traffic management challenges.

This hands-on involvement highlighted the students’ commitment to community service and enriched their understanding of real-world traffic operations, making it a valuable learning experience beyond the classroom.
