Department of Applied Mathematics and Computational Science has celebrated National Mathematics day 2023 on 4th and 5th of Janurary 2024.The program has started on 4th January with inaugral ceremony. After the inaugral ceremony the lecture series of 3 Expert lectures was started. Students and Faculty Members of various colleges has attended the event. More then 50 Students took part in different activities like Postar Competetion and Quiz competition.
On 5th of Januray the department has organized a movie screening based on the life of Gifted Indian Mathematician Shakuntala Devi . After the movie show there was a Prize distribution Ceremony.The Coordinator of the program was Prof. Smita Verma.
