Department of Applied Mathematics and Computational Science has organized National Science Week 2024 from 11-15March 2024. The program has been started on 11th March with inaugral ceremony. After the inaugral ceremony the lecture series consisting of 3 Expert lectures has been conducted. Students and Faculty members of various colleges has attended the event. More then 50 Students took part in different activities.
On 12th of March Poster and Model making compition were held.
On 13th March a Quiz competition based on science was held in which students of various colleges has participated.
On 14th March the department has organized a movie screening based on Quantum Theory .
On 15th March there were expert lectures series, the theme is “Indigenous Technologies for Viksit Bharat”.
the Cheif Guest of Event is Padamshree Dr. Janak Palta McGilligan, Environmentalist, Social Activist and Director Jimmy McGilligan Centre For Sustainable Development Indore.
Other prominent speakers were Prof. J. T. Andrews, Prof & Head, Department of Applied Physics and Optoelectronics, SGSITS, Indore and Prof. Venkatraman, Department of Physics, PMB Gujarati Science College, Indore.The Coordinator of the program was Prof. Smita Verma.
