" Poster Competition on 25th February, 2026 under National Science Day '26"
In commemoration of National Science Day, observed annually on February 28th to mark the discovery of the Raman Effect by Sir C.V. Raman, Department of Applied Chemistry, SGSITS, Indore organized a Poster Presentation Competition on February 28, 2024. The theme for this year’s celebration, "Women in Science: Catalysing Viksit Bharat" (Developed India), was chosen to honor the contributions of female scientists and to inspire young students to envision a future where women lead India's scientific progress toward a developed nation.
The event aimed to foster creativity, scientific temper, and awareness among students regarding the pivotal role of women in shaping India's scientific landscape.
The competition saw enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. The posters were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges based on relevance to the theme, creativity, scientific content & message.
