About Faculty: Dr. Arun Parakh is a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Shri G.S. Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore (MP). He obtained his Diploma in Electrical Engg. from Shri Vaishnav Polytechnic Indore with honors in 1992, B.E.(Hons.) in Electrical Engg. from SGSITS Indore in 1996, ME. from Computer Science Dept. SGSITS in 2003 and Ph.D in Computer Science and Engg from I.I.T Delhi in 2016. He worked as a Web Developer and Software Engineer in 1996 and 2000 where he was involved in designing and implementing of enterprise applications, web applications and corporate trainer. For the last 18 years, he is involved in teaching and research in the areas of digital systems design, electronic design automation and embedded systems. He has supervised  more than hundred UG and PG students and published nearly 25 conference and journal papers. Further he has chaired session in international conference at Innsbruck, Austria and presented research paper in Shanghai, China. He has developed a High Performance computing lab at SGSITS, Indore with collaboration of IIT Delhi. He has also organized several short term courses, workshop and poster exhibitions. He is member of board of study at RGPV, Bhopal. He is actively involved in different administrative roles and responsibilities at the level of department, institute, govt organizations and society.

About Faculty: Mr. Sandeep Bhongade received M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from V.J.T.I. Mumbai, Mumbai University (India) in 2003 and Ph. D degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee in 2012. He has more than 18 years of experience in teaching and research. Presently, he is Professor in the Electrical Engineering Department at Shri G.S. Institute of Technology & Science, Indore (M.P)-India. His research interests include Smart microgrids, Power System Restructuring, Power System Operations, and Control, Energy management system, Distributed Generation, Renewable Energy Sources. He has published several papers on diverse topics in refereed journals. He is a senior member of the IEEE Society.

About Faculty: Dr. Shailendra Kumar Sharma has received his Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, India, in 2012. He has more than 18 years of experience in teaching and research. He received his Master degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics from G. S. Institute of Technology & Science, Indore in 2003 and bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering in 1998 from Institute of Engineers, India. He has joined as an Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering Department at Shri G. S. Institute of Technology & Science Indore, Madhya Pradesh India in March 2004, and became Associate Professor in 2017 & Professor in 2020. He was a post-doctoral research fellow in the Department of Electrical Engineering at École de Technologie Supérieure (ETS), Universié du Québec, Montréal, Canada during Jan.-Dec. 2015. He has two Indian patents in his credit in the field of renewable energy. He has published thirty papers in Journals of international repute including IEEE and IET. He has also published and presented more than seventy research papers in various prestigious national and international conferences. His main research interests are in control of stand-alone non-conventional energy sources, Grid control under penetrations of distributed energy resources, power quality improvements, smart loads, solid state transformers and control of special machine drives. Dr. Sharma is a senior member, IEEE and Associate Member of Institution of Engineers (India).

About Faculty: Ms. Mayuri Sunhare is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science (SGSITS), Indore (MP). She received her B.E. degree in Electrical Engineering from School of Engineering & Technology, Vikram University, Ujjain in 2019 honoured with Double Gold medals for branch and university topper. She received her M.E. degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics from SGSITS, Indore in 2022. She has been twice the state and national level winner and participant in Worldskills global championship organized by Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship India.
